His formal education led him to attend Lyman Ward Military Academy in Camp Hill, AL and R.L. Osborne High School in Marietta, GA. Once his time in Hollywood was complete, he had the opportunity to follow his dream of being a touring & recording drummer in several well known rock bands. “Traveling and playing all over the world was a boyhood dream of mine. I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything” says Scott.

The birth of Specialty Spray Systems began early in 2007. After the company he had worked for closed its doors. Scott had a conversation with his Grandfather about starting his own business. After much debate Scott’s grandfather gave him a check for $4,500 to buy his first machine with along with the words “I believe in you”. SSS was born.

The words “I believe in you” are what propel Specialty Spray Systems forward. “Knowing that you company believes in you and supports you means the world to those who are on the receiving end of that encouragement. Those words have certainly changed my life” says Scott.
